01 - 4 slices sourdough or white sandwich bread
02 - 4 slices sharp cheddar cheese, approximately 28 g each
03 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
→ Seasoning
04 - 2 tablespoons everything bagel seasoning
# Steps:
01 - Lay out the bread slices and spread a thin, even layer of softened butter on one side of each slice.
02 - Sprinkle the buttered side of each slice generously with everything bagel seasoning, pressing gently to adhere.
03 - Flip two slices over and layer two slices of cheese on each, then top with remaining bread slices, seasoned side facing outward.
04 - Preheat a large nonstick skillet over medium heat.
05 - Place sandwiches in skillet and cook for 3 to 4 minutes per side, pressing gently, until bread is golden and cheese is melted.
06 - Remove from skillet, allow to cool slightly, then slice and serve immediately.
